Versilia Coast

Lying along the coastal shore of Tuscany, in the province of Lucca, Versilia is one of the most fascinating area of the entire Region.

A unique territory, it includes seven municipalities i.e. Viareggio, Pietrasanta, Camaiore, Forte dei Marmi, Massarosa, Stazzema and Seravezza. The area offers a diversified natural environment, combined with a remarkable artistic and architectural heritage, reminescent of a rich historical and cultural past. In summer or in winter, thanks to its many historical and environmental destinations and to a particulary mild climate, Versilia allows visitors to enjoy the endless soft sandy beaches as well as the luxuriant countryside including the Apuan Alps and protected areas, ideal destinations for hiking and mountain bike touring. Along the coast predominates the touristic and receptive activity with more than 650 hotels for every kind of need and means, from five-starluxury hotels to the boarding houses, from residences to camp sites, and a few farm holidays.
